Rain, Rain, Go Away
Well, I'm trying to post in here as often as possible, but I can't seem to get on here as often as I like. Today, I had to do Flag Detail down at Ft Detrick. Raise the flag at 5am this morning, and retreat at 1700. (or 5pm for you normal people) For the afternoon retreat, I brought Steph and the kids along, so they could get out of the house. For those of you who don't know, Ft Detrick is about 45 minutes southeast of Waynesboro. It's about 30+ miles through hill and valley. There was some rain clouds going down, but not to much rain. We must have missed the storm while we were at Detrick, because as we headed back, the traffic was backed up on I-70 going back toward Haggerstown. The roads where all wet, and as we got off on 66, there was even more water everywhere. The highway was flooded in parts, and fields where underwater. I wish I had my camera, as there were a couple of teenagers in a canoe in thier front yard having fun. It was an interesting site. From now on, we will attempt to have our camera with us more on trips.
